How to dye Easter eggs naturally

Ingredients:
  • 10 eggs
  • onion peel from 500 grams of red onions for a red brick color
  • 250 grams of frozen spinach for a dark green
  • 2 spoons with turmeric for yellow
  • half of a red cabbage for blue
  • vinegar
  • a few spoons with sunflower oil

We used 2- 4 eggs for each color. First of all, wash the eggs with liquid dish soap.

In a pot, add the onion peel, the eggs, water just to cover them and 2 spoons with vinegar. Let the pot boil at slow fire for 10 minutes.

Leave the eggs in the pot for 3-4 hours and you will have a really nice color.

In another pot, add the chopped cabbage, the eggs, water just to cover them and 2 spoons with vinegar.
Let it boil for 10 minutes then leave them in the pot for 3-4 hours.

In another pot, add the eggs, 2 spoons with curcuma,  water to cover the eggs and 2 spoons with vinegar. Boil at slow fire for 10 minutes then let them sit for a few hours.

Same process with the spinach, although from our experiences it doesn´t worth the trouble.

When the eggs have the color you desire, take them out on a paper napkin and let them dry.

Put some sunfower oil on a paper towel and rub the eggs with it. The eggs will become shiny :)

Keep the eggs in the fridge until you eat them.Enjoy!

Trip to Crema, Italy

Pretty crowded during the weekend when we visited. Only 40 km away from Milan, so easily reachable in case you want to get away from the big city.

Hotel review - Domaine de Crevatinas B&B, France

A disaster! It was a completely mess. We didn't want to stay for breakfast.
In the room smelled like mold and it was really humid.

The bathroom needed real cleaning. I think it´s not something that the owners do often.
There was no soap in the bathroom.

The owners were not even at home when we arrived. They advised the other guests to show us our room.

If we didn't arrive so late, we wouldn't have stayed during the night, although the room was already payed.

It was one of our worst stays in France. Until this, we liked to try the B&B because we had some nice experiences.

The restaurant was almost full in low-season. I don´t want to imagine how is it during the high season here.

And it wasn´t something out of the ordinary compared with other places we ate. Eadible food, that's all.

Trip to Senglea (Città Invicta), Malta

The city is just across Valetta on the other side of the golf. There is an area known as " The three cities". Not so many tourists there that day.

You can reach the area by bus, as we did, or by boat.
