Trip to Chateaudun, France

The castle is not so impressive on the inside. Inside there are left only empty walls and some old rugs.

Caramel beurre salé - recipe with step-by-step photos

It´s easy and delicious. You won´t be sorry!

Ingredients for a medium jar:
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 10 grams of fresh cream
  • 70 grams of salted butter
  • 30 grams of normal butter
  • 2 spoons with water

Put the sugar and the water in a pan and let it caramelize without mixing, at slow fire.

When yellow-brown, add both types of butter and mix vigorously.

When the butter is well incorporated, remove from the fire and add the fresh cream. Mix well.

Let the caramel cool then pour it in a jar.

You can keep it in the fridge for a few weeks...if you resist the temptation ;) .

You can eat it with pancakes, fruits or whatever you like.

Enjoy!

Hotel review - Tenuta Inagro**** San Severo, Italy

The superior double room was large. The bed and the pillows not so comfortable though.

The breakfast was embarrassing. They had some ham and cheese that didn´t look too good and some croissants. At least the croissants were fresh and the coffee was decent. They also had some fresh fruits.

Free but really slow wi-fi and free parking places.

The maids in the hotel are very noisy. They are singing and yelling so it´s impossible to oversleep.
