Hotel review - City Hotel Slatina, Romania

Nice room and comfortable bed. Probably the most decent hotel in the area.

There were no elevators though.

Good breakfast.

It was OK for a stroll, but the historic centre seems to be decaying, with many buildings unmaintained and many commercial spaces empty.

The rooms have no soundproofing and the walls are really thin. It seemed like we were in a room with other people.You can hear every noise from inside or outside.

The bed was OK but the pillows were a bit hard to sleep on.

The breakfast was really good on the other hand.

We arrived here by night so we have to come back some other time to enjoy it also by day.

The city had its charm.

The site is reachable by car or by bus.

There is a parking lot with a rather high fixed price and from there you go on foot between the windmills.

Hotel review - Van der Valk Hotel Akersloot, The Netherlands

The hotel is far from the city center of Alkmaar.

During the weekend the restaurant is very crowded with people who come just to eat. Because of that the parking lot is full so the guests of the hotel have a problem in parking their car.

The room was OK and the breakfast was decent.

Small city with a lovely city center. Unfortunately, the diamond shape of the village can only be seen with a drone...

Trip to Ljubljana, Slovenia

We´ve first been here during winter time several years before and it was cold and every shop was closed. So those memories are not so nice.

In the summer/autumn though, the city is vibrant and really nice.

Trip to Urbino, Italy

A really nice town with lots of students.
