The city center is small, but lovely. A lot of repairs are still needed on many historical buildings, though.

We had a fish and some grilled vegetables.

The food took a while, but in the end it was good.

A bit pricey, so you better ask for the menu first to avoid surprises at the end (the waiter will begin by making some suggestions without giving you the opportunity to see the menu).

Trip to Ljubljana, Slovenia

We´ve first been here during winter time several years before and it was cold and every shop was closed. So those memories are not so nice.

In the summer/autumn though, the city is vibrant and really nice.

The cakes were fresh and quite decent.

The place is in the city centre near the 3 bridges.

Eating out - Restavracija Orient, Maribor, Slovenia

The restaurant was just across the bridge, on the other side of the river.

The house specialty seems to be fresh meat from the grill. The food was simple and very good.

The price was really affordable.
