During our holiday in Italy this summer it was really hard to find some decent ice cream. Opposite the ones which are tasteless and with intense colors that resemble more of paint than ice cream.
This one in the photo was also a one time only, so we can´t help wonder what happened to the famous Italian ice cream?

Tartufo di Pizzo
It´s not just an ice cream, it's one of the best ice creams we´ve ever eaten in Italy. We found it only in Pizzo unfortunately, at Eur 5 per tartufo.

Homemade blackberries ice cream
Ingredients:
Clean the blackberries and put the in a pot.
Add the sugar and let them simmer at slow fire for 10 minutes.
Strain the composition and put it aside to cool.
Meanwhile whip the fresh cream until it makes stiff picks .
Add the yogurt and mix to incorporate it.
Add the cooled blackberry juice over the fresh cream/yogurt and mix.
Put the ice cream in the freezer for a few hours before serving it.
Enjoy!
- 300 grams of fresh cream
- 150 grams of yogurt
- 150 grams of blackberries
- 100 grams of sugar
