- 200 grams of flour
- 100 grams of butter at room temperature
- 20 grams of brown sugar
- 1 egg
- half of a spoon with baking powder
- a bit of salt
Ingredients for the filling:
- 200 grams of cheese
- 20 grams of fresh cream
- 10 grams of brown sugar
- half of an egg yolk (mix the other half with one spoon of milk and keep it to grease the biscuits)
Prepare the dough:
Beat the butter at room temperature with the sugar, the salt and the egg.
Incorporate the flour (previously mixed with the baking powder) a bit at the time.
Let the dough rest for 20 minutes at room temperature.
Meanwhile prepare the filling:
Mix the cheese with the sugar, the fresh cream and half of the egg yolk.
Prepare the rolls:
Divide the dough in 2 parts and repeat the procedure below with each of them.
Spread the dough on the table and cut it in small squares.
Add one spoon with cheese mixture in the middle of the square.
Bring the heads of the dough square in the middle (above the cheese) and close.
Put the rolls in an oven tray on baking paper. Mix the remaining egg yolk with the milk and brush it over the rolls.
Bake them at 200 Celsius degrees for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
When ready, you can spread some powdered sugar above.
Enjoy!
