- 150-170 grams wheat flour
- 120 grams of ground walnuts
- 70 grams butter
- 70 grams fresh cream
- 50 grams sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon with baking powder
- a bit of salt
- powdered sugar
First clean and grind the walnuts.
Then, beat the butter at room temperature together with the sugar.
Add the fresh cream and beat for another minute.
Incorporate the salt and the grounded walnuts and mix.
Incorporate the flour (previously mixed with the baking powder) a bit at the time.
Put the dough in the fridge for 1 hour.
Divide the dough in 2 equal parts.
Make a long strip and then cut it in small pieces of dough (2 cm). Shape each piece as a half-moon or whatever shape you desire.
Add the biscuits in an oven tray covered with baking paper and let them bake at 180 Celsius degrees for 20-25 minutes or until ready.
When ready, take the biscuits out from the oven and mix them with powdered sugar while still hot.
They can be kept even for a month in a sealed cookie jar.
Enjoy!
