- 570 grams of wheat flour
- 300 milliliters of warm milk
- 60 grams of butter
- 20 grams of fresh yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1 spoon with sugar
- salt
Mix the fresh yeast with the sugar and 2 spoons of milk and let it rest in a warm place for 5-10 minutes.
Mix 400 grams of flour with the warm milk, the melted warm butter, the yeast, 1 egg and 1 egg white and mix.
Incorporate the salt and the rest of the flour little by little. The dough will be a little sticky at the end. Do not add more flour.
Divide the dough in 20-22 buns and put them in an oven tray covered with baking paper.
Mix the egg yolk with 1 spoon with milk and brush it over the buns.
On top of the buns add the poppy seeds. You can add all sorts of seeds instead of the poppy seeds.
Let the buns rest in a warm place for 40 minutes.
Bake them in the oven at 170 Celsius degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Enjoy!
