Coffee biscuits - recipe with step-by-step photos

Ingredients for 25-30 biscuits:
  • 200 grams of flour
  • 100 grams of butter 
  • 80 grams of brown sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 spoons with ground coffee


Beat the egg yolks with 70 grams of sugar until they double the volume.

Incorporate the butter at room temperature, a bit at the time .


Add the flour and make a non sticky dough.

Put the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.


Spread the dough on the table and make the biscuits using a special tool for biscuits, ravioli etc.



Mix the remaining 10 grams of sugar with the ground coffee and sprinkle them on top of the biscuits.


Put the biscuits in an oven tray covered with baking paper and let them cook in the preheated oven at 180 Celsius degrees for 13- 15 minutes or until golden brown.
