Eating out - Pizza Scilla, Scilla, Italy

If you want to eat something before 8.30 when the restaurants open, this is the only option.

The pizza was almost decent. Too salty for our taste, but at least it seemed to have been made on-the-spot.

Nice historic centre and a lot of steps to cover if you want to go on foot.

A very nice landscape not to be missed.

Hotel review - Hotel Scilla, Scilla, Italy

The so-called hotel is in an apartment building. On the lower level floors there are apartments.

The room is lovely at first sight, but when you stay more than an hour you will feel the humidity and the mold. Mold is everywhere: in the room, in the bathroom.

In the room it was cold over night and we could not start the air conditioning because it was above the bed, directing the airflow towards your head.

The breakfast.....oooo, we consider us very lucky that finally we could eat a piece of cake and we had a coffee. The croissants were some old pastries reheated that they will bring you from another room.

The really bad part is that you could not find a place decent to stay in the area so better to avoid sleepgin in Scilla (try Cosenza or Catanzaro).
