The village has some potential, however it seemed to be left in ruin.

It´s a big enough town, with many shops and narrow streets, but a bit dirty.

It wasn´t so lively when we arrived, but it´s still worth a visit, we think.

The city center is not in its best shape, but it will be in a few years as works were on site.

You have to let your car about 500 meters outside the city because the city is on a rock and the parking spaces are barely enough for the locals.

The walking through the city center it has ups and downs, literally, so came prepared with comfortable shoes.  

Hotel review - Grand Hotel Spiaggia ****, Alassio, Italy

The room was big. No noise during the night and that´s probably because there were only elderly people.

Paid private parking, but on the main road behind the hotel you can find free public parking places.

Breakfast was a classical one: coffee and croissants.

Trip to Sestri Levante, Liguria, Italy

Not too much to see. It has a main street, a sea view, a few shops and that´s it.

Eating out - Kyo Fish Pescheria & Cucina , Rapallo, Liguria, Italy

The restaurant is on one of the city center streets. They also have a shop next door, where they sell fresh fish.

The fish was a bit expensive, but good.
